Xfce Ported To Rust-Written Redox OS For Better X11 Experience

Redox OS, the open-source Rust-based operating system, received several notable improvements in May. Developer Wildan Mubarok ported Xfce to Redox OS to provide a better X11 experience, as it proved more stable than the MATE desktop environment. Other highlights include the EEVDF scheduler implementation, a 4x performance improvement for I/O event wait, massive performance gains for RedoxFS inode handling, incremental compilation support in pre-built packages, a Rust compiler update, and the COSMIC Monitor app being ported as Redox's first graphical system monitor.
