## Summary

OS9Map is a newly released OpenStreetMap viewer for Mac OS 9 running on PowerPC hardware. It supports smooth map scrolling and panning with tile loading, place and address search via Nominatim, and bookmarks for saving frequently visited locations. Requirements include Mac OS 9, a PowerPC processor, at least 16 MB RAM, and an internet connection via Open Transport TCP/IP. Version 1.0.0 was released on June 21, 2026.
