The project required building a bridge program to handle communication between the card's 8088 CPU and the Apple II's 6502, relocating it in RAM for high-resolution graphics support, and fixing various bugs including an undocumented ProDOS constraint. The result allows running most MS-DOS 2.0 compatible software, with the caveat that programs writing directly to video memory won't work.
