A hobbyist built an ESP32-S3 flight tracker that displays near-real-time aircraft data using the OpenSky Network API, polling every 120 seconds. The device features a dual-screen setup (TFT + OLED), a joystick, and buttons — originally designed as a module for a custom handheld game console before being repurposed as a standalone flight tracker. Code and build instructions are available on GitHub.
