> Another thing to consider, check where the data is housed, in the EU? Then the GDPR rules (at least) apply. Even a Canadian home would be safer. (This would be Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) data which is heavily protected in Canada.

> The normies really need to google the opensource alternatives of such applications regarding the use-cases. They have no excuses when data that's meant to be this personal is being used for advertising. Hopefully they pick up the pace quick enough, as surfing github should also be a personal skill for your own sake, like surfing google.
