Your trusted knowledge layer: Introducing Stack Internal's new platform experience

Stack Overflow has launched new capabilities for Stack Internal, an AI-native enterprise knowledge platform. The July 2026 release introduces automatic ingestion of knowledge from sources like Google Docs and Slack, breaking raw data into structured, trust-evaluated knowledge. Key features include a chat interface with confidence labels and provenance cards, permission-aware agent access, MCP server and API integrations for AI agent context retrieval, and new Swagger API v3 endpoints for usage analytics. The platform aims to create a persistent, validated knowledge layer that both human teams and AI agents can reliably act on. Current customers can trial the new experience starting July 30, 2026.
