The exploit and server code are both on GitHub, though they only work reliably on that exact printer model and firmware. He also tried enlisting an LLM to help find the exploit, which assisted with identifying functions in the firmware dump but ultimately required human effort and burned through millions of tokens. Notably, the printer can still function normally afterward, but using it while Minecraft is running crashes the server.
