Tailscale has released Aperture CLI, a tool that simplifies switching between AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, etc.), models, and LLM providers. It integrates with Aperture, Tailscale's LLM gateway, to auto-discover available instances and configured endpoints on a tailnet. A bridge mode allows use on devices where the Tailscale VPN client can't be installed, proxying only the Aperture connection rather than routing all traffic. The CLI is available as an alpha release for macOS, Linux, and Windows, installable via `go install`.
