Claude Code has released a new 'agent view' feature in research preview that provides a unified dashboard for managing multiple concurrent Claude Code sessions from a single terminal tab. Users can navigate between sessions using arrow keys, see status indicators (yellow for needs input, green for completed), reply to agent prompts without switching tabs, and kill sessions with Ctrl+X. A new '/goal' command is also introduced, allowing Claude Code to autonomously work toward an objective for hours. The agent view is CLI-only and sessions can be launched with '--bg' flag or moved to the background with '/bg'. The feature is particularly valuable for developers running many parallel agents across different project directories.
