Claude Code has rolled out significant updates that enhance both functionality and user experience. Notably, two new skill agents have been introduced: /simplify and /batch.
The /simplify command employs parallel agents to elevate code quality, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with <a href="http://claude.md" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">claude.md</a> standards post-change. This skill is particularly useful in managing pull requests through to production, streamlining the process by reducing manual checks and interventions.
In addition, the /batch command enables large-scale, efficient code migrations by utilizing dozens of isolated agents operating in harmony. These agents use git worktrees to execute tasks on individual files and autonomously submit pull requests, facilitating expansive migrations with minimal manual overhead.
Further updates include a new /copy command, which conveniently copies the last Claude response directly to the clipboard. This, along with markdown rendering in the ask-user-question tool, offers improved visual previews of options to enhance user interaction.
Moreover, the introduction of HTTP hook handlers opens new pathways for integrating Claude Code with external services. This feature allows for seamless validation, logging, or the triggering of CI pipelines, aligning Claude Code more closely with broader development ecosystems.
These updates mark a new chapter for Claude Code by refining code management procedures, enhancing ease of use, and promoting smoother integration with external systems. These enhancements aim to reduce the manual effort involved in regular development workflows, thus improving overall efficiency.
