Clint Hocking, the Creative Director leading Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, has left Ubisoft as part of the company's ongoing restructuring. Hocking, known for his work on Far Cry 2, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, and Watch Dogs Legion, had been at the helm of the horror-focused AC title announced in 2022. Jean Guesdon, newly named Head of Content for the Assassin's Creed brand, will now serve as acting Creative Director on the project. This marks the second major departure from Hexe, following former franchise lead Marc-Alexis Côté's exit in October and subsequent lawsuit alleging constructive dismissal. Ubisoft continues a broad restructuring that has included studio closures worldwide.
