Figma's Chrome extension does something I've wanted since I started building apps with AI

Figma's Chrome extension lets you capture any live website as real editable layers in Figma, which can then be handed directly to AI coding tools like Figma Make or Claude Code as a concrete design reference. This solves a common vibe-coding frustration: AI tools default to generic purple-gradient designs when given vague prompts. By pointing the AI at an actual captured site instead of describing it in text, you get a much more accurate starting point — even if the resulting code still needs cleanup.
