Godot 4.7, Lights, Camera, Action! – Godot Engine

Godot 4.7 has been released, continuing the engine's momentum with over 300 contributors and 1,600 pull requests. The release builds on Godot 4.6's focus on polish and usability, aiming to further streamline both the engine and its surrounding tooling. The Godot ecosystem continues to grow rapidly, with over 700 new Godot games published on Steam in 2026 so far and more than 1,000 new games submitted to itch.io every week.
