AMD has released a major update to the Radeon Developer Tool Suite (RDTS), headlined by RGP 2.7 which adds HLSL shader source code viewing side-by-side with ISA disassembly, instruction-level thread divergence metrics via an 'Average active lanes' column, and Extended PIX Marker support through a Microsoft collaboration using the DirectX 12 Agility SDK 1.721-preview. Other highlights include shader hash filtering, improved ray tracing flow chart support for Launch and Callable shaders, and a new command-line interface for RDP 3.5 enabling scriptable profile captures in CI pipelines. RGD 1.6.3 gains Extended PIX Marker support in crash analysis and recursive PDB search paths. RRA 1.11 adds hover tooltips and a geometry filter slider for ray tracing acceleration structure analysis. RMV 1.15 adds binary/decimal memory unit switching, new texture dimension columns, and CSV export. Hardware support is extended to AMD Radeon AI PRO R9600 Series and Ryzen AI 400 Series.
