Secret Mode, the independent game publisher behind Escape the Backrooms and Chained Together, is opening a new development studio in Sheffield, UK. The studio will handle updates, DLC, platform ports, and codebase maintenance for Secret Mode's existing portfolio, as well as providing support to external developers. It will be led by Dan Secker (VP of technology and operations) and Jacob Habgood (technical development director), both with backgrounds at Sumo Group, Secret Mode's former parent company.
