Snowflake has released the CoCo (Cortex Code) plugin for Claude Code, available in Anthropic's official Claude plugin marketplace. The plugin auto-detects Snowflake-related prompts and routes them to Cortex Code, unlocking 55+ built-in Snowflake-specialized skills — covering dynamic tables, semantic views, data governance, cost intelligence, ML, and more — without leaving the Claude Code session. Users can also force routing with the $cortex-run prefix. Security is handled via configurable approval modes and security envelopes that keep credentials and data local. Installation requires only the CoCo CLI and a Snowflake connection config, then one install command.
