Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 2 brings a wave of bug fixes for the new Dappled Forest biome, including shelf mushroom model and hitbox corrections, poplar block texture fixes, and wandering trader updates. Gameplay changes include shield priority adjustments when holding hoes or shovels, adventure mode decorated pot fix, and a new drowned melee attack dealing 8 hearts of damage. The headline visual change replaces the improved transparency mode with Order-Independent Translucency, fixing rendering order glitches for water, name tags, particles, and dyed glass.
